nately WILL play a supposedly 'secret' gig at Zigfrid in Hoxton Square on Thu 11th August, despite telling several people about it.

"Yeah, we told a few friends. We just didn't think", said a rueful band member after the one-off gig's 'secret' status was downgraded to 'impromptu'.

The band, who also vowed to keep a tight lid on their set-list for the 9pm show, happily confirmed that 'Where They Belong' would be added to the set that recently rocked the Water Rats. And probably 'Something In Your Smile'.

The band kept an ace up their sleeve, however, by refusing to reveal the entry price for the free gig. When asked how much it would cost to get in, a spokesman said nothing.

CURE FOUND FOR SUMMERTIME BLUES

nately are taking a well-earned holiday until the end of August. Recent gigs at Zigfrid and the Water Rats (see photos), several days in the recording studio and posing for the photo on the right have all taken their toll.

However, the band didn't want to leave their fans empty-handed for two weeks, so they have made available an exclusive limited-edition mp3 of 'Condescension'. It could disappear at any time, so get it while you can.

An 'intimate' turn-out at Zigfrid has also led to a radical rethink of the band's secret gig policy. There are now confirmed rumours that the band will be playing the Jack Daniels tent at Bestival on the Isle of Wight (9th - 11th Sep), and the slot at the Marquee in Leicester Square on the 24th September has also been confirmed.
